Open House!

We welcome you to come explore our school, meet current families and learn about how amazing our teachers Charlotte and Erin are at our Open House. On January 9th from 1pm-3pm we will open our doors and invite you to come explore where we learn and play.

We have classes for 1 to 5 year olds, with an outdoor playground and experiential learning curriculum. Field trips, fun and friendships combine to create a wonderful environment for your children to learn.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. We hope to see you there!

Welcome Glen!

Hello and welcome to our new Toddler Parent Educator Glen Osborn. Glen is a teacher and parent educator with North Seattle College. He brings a wonderful and varied background to our school, and many years experience with education for people of all ages. Glen’s European and Native American ancestry lends itself to his traditional story telling and ceremonial native events. He volunteers with Seattle Public School’s Huchoosedah program (providing Native American culture-based education) and independently teaches continuing education classes for pre-school to college-age teachers. Glen’s hobbies are creative and numerous, enjoying the outdoors equally with juggling, carpentry, science, Sioux tipi making, grandparenting and family travel. We are very excited to have Glen join our Toddler Class!

One of the great things about joining a co-op preschool is the parent education. As you participate in class, you will also meet with a trained parent educator once a month. The parent education is fantastic, and covers topics appropriate for not just the current events within the children’s class, but also skills your children (and you as a parent!) can use and learn to improve family function. Each class has it’s own parent educator who will attend preschool to get to know the students (your children) and be available for questions you may have both about school or about parenting in general. Parents find them a great resource for everything from cooperation, potty training, sleep issues and more. A fantastic reason to love co-op!
